Results of a large feedback study are presented at Tag der Stiftungen (Foundation Day) – Partners indicate high satisfaction with collaboration with foundations but see improvement potential in the areas of information politics and transparency.


Alanus University of Arts and Social Sciences in Alfter, near Bonn has established a research group for Waldorf education, in partnership with the Software AG Foundation and the Pedagogical Research Center of the Association for Waldorf Schools. The primary goal of the institution is the systematic study and further development of Waldorf pedagogical approaches, both theoretically and in practice.


90 years ago, Rudolf Steiner laid the foundation for special education according to anthroposophical principles. Since then, these principles have been adopted in various contexts, including in Waldorf schools for special education. Alanus University of Arts and Social Sciences in Alfter, near Bonn, has now published a study financed by the Software AG Foundation. In it, the teachers at these types of schools have been systematically surveyed and studied for the first time.


Last Wednesday, the Association of Organic Processors, Wholesalers and Retailers (Bundesverband Naturkost Naturwaren, BNN) announced that it will provide financial support for privately financed organic vegetable breeders in a total amount of at least 470,000 Euros. In front of almost 600 gathered guests, BNN President Meinrad Schmitt handed over the symbolic key of success to Kultursaat President Michael Fleck.


As part of International Green Week in Germany, the Federal Minister of Agriculture, Christian Schmidt, awarded the breeding farms of Kultursaat e.V., together with the marketing organization Bingenheimer Saatgut AG , a federal prize for organic agriculture.
