A fresh start – at least in terms of the Software AG Foundation's external appearance. With the latest issue of the foundation's magazine, “implizit”, the foundation reveals its new logo as well as its updated corporate design.


You may have noticed that the Software AG Foundation has not yet published its annual report this year. This is due to an intensive process of corporate redesign that the foundation is currently undertaking. We all highly anticipate the appearance of our new foundation magazine featuring our “new look”.


At the close of the year Walter Hiller will begin a well-earned retirement after many years of service for SAGST, starting in 2002 as a member of the Board of Trustees. In an interview, our “foreign minister” reflects on an exciting professional career and a “very fulfilling time at SAGST”.


Grateful for the inspiring and fruitful cooperation in 2016, we wish our project partners and potential applicants a Merry Christmas, peaceful holidays and a happy New Year!


The Software AG Foundation has been supporting independent non-profits and initiatives for over 20 years. What all of these projects have in common is a desire to find new paths to addressing urgent social issues. In our Annual Report 2015/16 (only available in German), we too are taking a new path: unlike last year, this year's Annual Report is not focused on one special thematic issue.
