Movement is an expression of childlike joie de vivre, vitality and curiosity. But this developmental driving force also incites us as adults: internal and external movement allow us to learn and gain insights about the world and ourselves – as we move through our lives. In its latest foundation publication, SAGST has explored this living phenomenon, shedding light on the healing aspects of movement in various aspects of life.


With SAGST explicitly in 2019, the Software AG Foundation (SAGST) published its fourth funding and finance report in this form. In addition to facts and figures on funding activities, it also reveals the foundation’s investment strategy. The example of Bingenheimer Saatgut AG (BSAG) shows how much it is associated with the ideals of SAGST. Helmut Habermehl, who has been the Chairman of the Executive Board of Software AG Stiftung - A Foundation (SAGST) since 2011, will, after 20 years of service, step down to retire at the turn of the year 2019/20. As successor to Mr. Habermehl, who is almost 69 years of age, the Board of Trustees has appointed Peter Augustin. He will be responsible in future for the “Human Resources, Communication and Administration” Department.
